Montreal Open 2018

The Montreal Open 2018 took place from February 28 to March 3, 2018 in Montreal , Canada . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2017/18 and belonged to the PSA 25 category .

Last year's winner was César Salazar , who did not run again. In the final, Borja Golán , who had started the tournament in the top position, beat Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan with 9:11, 11: 4, 11: 9 and 11: 6.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received David Baillargeon a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize money was $ 25,000.
