The Open de squash Financière Banque Nationale 2014 took place from October 21 to 24, 2014 in Montreal , Canada . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2014/15 and belonged to the International 35 category .

The defending champion was Borja Golán , who failed this year in the semifinals to Miguel Ángel Rodríguez . In the final, Rodríguez met Mathieu Castagnet , who won the game with 11: 7, 14:12, 9:11 and 13:11. This was Castagnet's second title on the PSA World Tour.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. Per Wildcard received David Baillargeon a spot in the main draw.

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 35,000.
