The Open de Squash Banque Nationale Groupe Financier 2012 took place from March 18-23, 2012 in Montreal , Canada . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2011/12 and belonged to the International 35 category . It was endowed with $ 35,000.

Defending champion was Hisham Mohd Ashour , who lost in the semi-finals to eventual winner Tom Richards . Richards defeated Thierry Lincou in the final with 11: 7, 8:11, 11: 8, 5:11 and 11: 5.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard got Shawn Delierre a spot in the main draw.
