Montsûrs-Saint-Céneré was 2017-2019 a French commune with last 2,519 inhabitants (as of January 1 2016) in the department of Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire . It belonged to the arrondissement of Mayenne , to the community association Communauté de communes des Coëvrons and to the cantons of Évron and Meslay-du-Maine . The INSEE code was 53161, the postcode 53150. The municipality had an area of ​​29.74 km² and was at an altitude of 62 to 131 m.

It was created with effect from January 1, 2017 as Commune nouvelle through the amalgamation of the previously independent municipalities of Montsûrs and Saint-Céneré , which received the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality .

The municipality of Montsûrs-Saint-Céneré was merged with Montourtier , Deux-Évailles and Saint-Ouën-des-Vallons to form the Commune nouvelle Montsûrs with effect from January 1, 2019 . All former municipalities have the status of Commune déléguée in the new municipality, including those that already had this in Montsûrs-Saint-Céneré. The municipality of Montsûrs-Saint-Céneré was dissolved at the same time. The administrative headquarters are located in Montsûrs.
