Montsûrs is a village and a former French commune with 1,996 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire .
With effect from January 1, 2017, the former municipalities of Montsûrs and Saint-Céneré were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Montsûrs-Saint-Céneré and had the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality .
With effect from January 1, 2019, Montsûrs-Saint-Céneré was merged with the former municipalities of Deux-Évailles , Montourtier and Saint-Ouën-des-Vallons to form the Commune nouvelle Montsûrs of the same name . The already existing Commune déléguées Montsûrs and Saint-Céneré will retain their status in the new municipality. The administrative headquarters are located in Montsûrs.
