Moosbierbaum is a village and a cadastral municipality in the market town of Atzenbrugg , Lower Austria. The village of Heiligeneich also belongs to the cadastral community .
The street village is accessed by the L115 state road, into which the L2215 from Rust im Tullnerfeld joins. The Tullnerfelder Bahn runs through the village and has the Moosbierbaum-Heiligeneich station .
With the former Moosbierbaum hydrogenation plant , the originally rural location was transformed into an industrial location, the fallow land was later converted into a golf course and thus the venue for the Austrian Open .
