Moritz von Kaisenberg

Moritz von Kaisenberg ( pseudonym Moritz von Berg-Nesselröden or Moritz von Berg-Nesselröder , also Moritz von Berg or Moritz Leopold Ludolf von Berg ; born June 26, 1837 in Halberstadt , † August 18, 1910 in Hanover ) was a German officer , regimental commander , Manor owner and writer .

Life

Moritz von Kaisenberg was born in the province of Saxony as the son of the criminal inspector and manor owner Louis Eduard von Kaisenberg. After attending the Halberstadt grammar school , he began military service on April 1, 1855, initially in a cavalry regiment stationed in Magdeburg, then served in other regiments in the provinces of Saxony, Westphalia , Hanover and Silesia .

On October 25th, 1887, von Kaisenberg married Adelheid Lisette (born von der Betten ; * December 27th, 1858 in Celle ) in Werden .

In the Franco-Prussian War he fought in a Hanoverian Uhlan regiment from 1870 to 1871 and eventually rose to the position of regimental commander. In 1886 he took his leave as a lieutenant colonel and retired to his manor Ahlem . near Hannover-Linden .

First in Ahlem and later in Hanover, von Kaisenberg published numerous short stories from 1893. Under the title of ... Memoirs of Baroness Cecile de Courtot ... he revealed himself as the editor and great-grandson of the Baroness.

From 1898 until his death he lived in Hanover. In 1910 the Lieutenant Colonel a. D. according to the address book of the city of Hanover in the house Auf dem Emmerberge 2 .
