Morocco Omari (born May 7, 1975 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actor .
life and career
Morocco Omari was born in the US city of Chicago . He has been an actor since 1998. He played his first role as a guest actor in an episode of the series Alone Against the Future . He subsequently had other guest appearances u. a. in The District - Washington , Angel - Hunter of Darkness , Just in Case Amy , Los Angeles Police Report or Crossing Jordan - Pathologist with profile .
Since 2013, Omari has played more and more recurring roles in television series. In 2015, he worked in the fifth season of the US series Homeland , which was filmed in Germany. From 2016 to 2017 he was seen in the series Empire in the role of Tariq .
Occasionally, Omari is also involved as a director and screenwriter of short films. From 2001 to 2006, Omari was married to actress JoNell Kennedy .
