Mostafa Amr Ahmed Ahmed Hassan ( Arabic مصطفى عمرو حسن, DMG Muṣṭafā ʿAmr Ḥasan ; * December 16, 1995 ) is an Egyptian shot putter .

Athletic career

Mostafa Amr Hassan gained his first international experience in 2014 at the Arab Junior Championships in Cairo , where he won the gold medal with the 6 kg ball with a width of 21.79 m. He then finished eighth at the Junior World Championships in Eugene with 19.20 m. The following year he won the Arab Championships in Madinat Isa with 19.22 m and then retired at the World Championships in Beijing with 19.65 m in qualification . In 2016 he finished 13th at the World Indoor Championships in Portland with 19.81 m and in 2017 he was eliminated again in the qualification at the 2017 World Championships in London with 19.23 m . In 2018 he took part in the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona and finished eleventh there with 18.35 m in the final. In 2019 he won the Arab Championships in Cairo with 20.60 m and then won the bronze medal at the African Games in Rabat with a stroke of 20.74 m behind the Nigerian Chukwuebuka Enekwarti and his compatriot Mohamed Magdi Hamza . At the beginning of October he was eliminated from the qualification at the World Championships in Doha with 20.55 m and then finished seventh at the World Military Games in Wuhan with 20.11 m.

In 2019 Hassan became the Egyptian champion in the shot put.
