The title of the motorcycle championship in 1930 were the VII. Grand Prize of the FICM forgiven, at July 13, 1930 Spa ( Belgium ) under the X. Belgian Grand Prix long on the almost 15 km Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps held was .

The European Grand Prix took place for the second time as part of the Belgian Grand Prix .

With Paul Weyres , Germany was only represented by one starter, as the Solitude race was taking place in Stuttgart at the same time and the two largest German manufacturers BMW and DKW concentrated more on the German championship than on the international grands prix.

With the victory of Belgian Yvan Goor in the 175 class, the Zschopau manufacturer DKW was able to celebrate a title win.
