European motorcycle championship 1929
The titles of the European motorcycle championship in 1929 were at the VI. Awarded the FICM Grand Prize , which was held on October 19 and 20, 1929 in L'Ametlla del Vallès , about 30 kilometers north of Barcelona in Spain .
For the first time, the European Grand Prix did not take place as part of a national Grand Prix, but was held because of the annual FICM congress, which this time took place in Spain, and the 1929 World Exhibition in Barcelona, Spain, which at that time had no national motorcycle Grand Prix fought.
The approximately 16-kilometer route led through the towns of L'Ametlla del Vallès, Granollers , Caldes de Montbui and Sant Feliu de Codines .

In the 350 cc class race, which ran over a distance of 330 kilometers, only four pilots reached the finish. Josef Klein started again, but had to park his DKW on the first lap with a damaged chain. It won Leo Davenport from England on Norton .
