The Town of Mount Pleasant is located in southern Wisconsin, around 25 km north of the Illinois border . The Wisconsin State Highway 69 runs through the west of the Town of Mount Pleasant. In addition, the County Highways C, D and F run through the town. All other roads are subordinate country roads and some unpaved roads.
The Sugar River State Trail runs through the Town of Mount Pleasant , a rail trail for hikers and cyclists that follows the route of a former railway line . In winter, the hiking trail can also be used with snowmobiles.
