concept

The name is the short form of Mujirushi Ryōhin , which translated means something like: "No brand, good products". MUJI is characterized by the choice of materials, the rational manufacturing process and the general simplicity of its products and their packaging. The range of products on offer includes stationery , office items, cosmetics , household appliances , clothing and furniture . Well-known designers all over the world work for the Japanese company, albeit anonymously, so that it remains unclear who designed each product, since only the design and the pure usefulness of the products should convince the customer, not well-known names.

The group also has cafes, restaurants and flower shops. Some products are exhibited and sold in London's Victoria and Albert Museum and New York's Museum of Modern Art .
