Brazil at the Mundialito 1980/81 in Uruguay .

National coach Telê Santana took over the management of the Seleção in 1980. For him it was his first tournament with Brazil. Playmaker Rivelino resigned after the World Cup in Argentina in 1978. The attacking midfielders Zico and Socrates formed the new heart of the team. Eder Aleixo and Serginho developed into regular players.
