The municipality of Puerto Suárez is a district in the Santa Cruz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

The municipality of Puerto Suárez is one of three municipalities in the province of Germán Busch and includes the southern areas of the province. It borders on the municipality of El Carmen Rivero Tórrez to the north, the province of Cordillera to the west, the Republic of Paraguay to the south, the Republic of Brazil to the southeast and east , and the municipality of Puerto Quijarro to the northeast .

The municipality extends between about 17 ° 58 'and 20 ° 08' south latitude and 57 ° 47 'and 59 ° 07' west longitude, its extension from west to east is up to 120 kilometers and from north to south up to 230 kilometers .
