Munro Price
Munro Price (* 1963 in London ) is a British modern historian , university lecturer and non-fiction author . His research focus is France in modern times .
Life
Munro Price was born in London in 1963 as the son of the writer Stanley Price. He studied history at the University of Cambridge , where he received his doctorate (Ph. D.) in 1989 and specialized in the fields of: France in the 18th century, French Revolution , First French Republic and Napoleonic Wars . Munro Price also wrote relevant monographs and presented personalities such as Louis XVI. , Marie Antoinette , Louis Auguste Le Tonnelier de Breteuil , Charles Gravier, comte de Vergennes , Louis-Philippe I , Lewis Way and Napoleon Bonaparte .
He taught modern history as a lecturer in 1988/89 at Swansea University and as an associate professor at the University of Lyon in 1994/95 and then as a professor in Bradford at the University of Bradford. Munro Price is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and Historical Association .
