Mutant Turtles: Chōjin Densetsu-hen ( Japanese ミ ュ ー タ ン ト ・ タ ー ト ル ズ 超人 伝 説 編 , Myūtanto Tātoruzu: Chōjin Densetsu-hen , in German "Mutant Turtles: American superman legend") is a two-part animation based on the original teenage cartoon animation of the teenage cartoon Hero Turtles , which in turn is based on the comics of the same name by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird .

action

When the four Ninja Turtles explore a temple in the Muta Kingdom, which was believed to be lost, they encounter the fairy Crys-Mu, who is locked in a Muta stone . In gratitude for their liberation, she gives the Turtles the ability to transform into super mutants. At the same time, Shredder and Krang find the Dark Muta Stone in the temple, which in turn gives Shredder, Rocksteady and Bebop the ability to super mutate.

production

The two OVA episodes were produced for TV Tokyo . The first episode was supposed to promote the Super Mutants Ninja Turtles toy line , which is due to be released in Japan , while the second episode in the following year promotes the Japan-exclusive Metal Mutation Ninja Turtles toy line. The two OVA episodes have only been released on VHS in Japan so far.
