Myriam Quiel
Myriam Quiel (born November 3, 1974 in Oldenburg ) is a German-Iranian painter .
Life
Quiel was born to a German mother and an Iranian father and grew up in Oldenburg. There she passed the Abitur in 1994 at the old grammar school. From 1998 to 2003 she studied painting in the class of Hans-Peter Adamski at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts . After graduating in 2003, she lived as a freelance artist in Berlin until 2008 . In 2007 she made her first trip to Tehran . In 2008 she moved to Tehran, where she lived with her husband and daughter until the end of 2016. She has lived and worked near Frankfurt since 2017 .
