The Nördlinger Hütte is an alpine club hut of the Nördlingen section of the German Alpine Club at 2239  m above sea level. A. south below the Reither tip in Tyrol ( Austria ). This makes it the highest mountain hut in the entire Karwendel . It is located in the westernmost part of the Karwendel, the Erlspitz group , above Seefeld . From the hut you have a sweeping view of the Stubai Alps , the Inn Valley and the Wetterstein Mountains .

use

Because of its location and the many tour options, the hut is a popular base for mountaineers on multi-day tours, e.g. multi-day Karwendel crossings, but also various summit ascents. It is also used as an excursion destination by day guests, who get to the hut via the mountain station of the Härmelekopf cable car. Primarily, however, the hut is an important base for climbing peaks, hut treks and occasional climbing tours. Because of the high avalanche danger in the area, it is not suitable for ski tours , it does not offer any winter space and is closed in winter.
