NHL Stadium Series 2019
The 2019 NHL Stadium Series (officially 2019 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series for marketing reasons ) was an outdoor ice hockey game played on February 23, 2019 as part of the 2018/19 season of the National Hockey League (NHL). In this sixth edition of the NHL Stadium Series and the tenth game overall, the host Philadelphia Flyers and the Pittsburgh Penguins face off at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania .
The Flyers won the game 4-3 in overtime.

In 2016, the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers reached an agreement to play a home-and-home series of outdoor games. The first game in this series was the 2017 NHL Stadium Series at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh . Since the NHL does not normally allow a team to play an open-air game in consecutive years, the next option was not until 2019. The two opponents discussed a game at the neutral Beaver Stadium in State College , Pennsylvania . However, this idea was discarded because there were concerns that the stadium's sanitary facilities would not be able to withstand an event in winter.
