The NHL Winter Classic 2017 (officially Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic 2017 for marketing reasons ) was an outdoor ice hockey game that was played on January 2, 2017 as part of the 2016/17 season of the National Hockey League (NHL). In this ninth edition of the NHL Winter Classic , the St. Louis Blues won 4-1 against the Chicago Blackhawks at Busch Stadium in St. Louis , Missouri .
