history

The place Wnaczke nad Kalkem was mentioned for the first time in 1555. There is reports of a stream that drove several mills in the place. In German the place was initially called Netzt (probably derived from wetted, wetland ). The place belonged in the domain of Komotau (Chomutov). In 1605 it was slammed into Rothenhaus . In the place, agriculture was practiced under harsh conditions, but also the mining of gold , silver and tin . During the Thirty Years War , the population had to flee into the woods and was robbed. In 1695 a blast furnace with a hammer mill was built in the village . In 1749 the ironworks was closed again. From the second half of the 17th century, the production of clapboard , wooden toys , kitchen utensils, cigar tips and building materials made of wood began . The manufacture of nails was added at the end of the next century. In 1813 Prussian and Austrian armies twice marched through the village to fight Napoleon and devastated it. In 1846 there were 53 houses with 543 inhabitants in Natzschung. In 1850 the place became an independent municipality in the judicial district of Sebastiansberg or Komotau district . A school was built in 1861. On July 19, 1891, there was a flood that swept away everything that stood in its way. In 1927, a Czech school was opened in the place where only 5 Czech families lived, which was also attended by students from Heinrichsdorf ( Jindřichova Ves ), Kallich ( Kalek ) and Kienhaid . In 1960 it was incorporated into Kalek. In 1991 the place had 11 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 16 houses in which 37 people lived.
