Nathan Gamble (born January 12, 1998 in Tacoma , Washington ) is an American actor .

Life

Gamble was born to Christie Gamble. His parents are theater directors .

He has a sister, Danielle Gamble, who also plans to become an actress after graduating from high school.

His first film role was Mike in Babel , for which he was nominated at the 2007 Young Artist Awards . Since then he has starred in the films Dry Rain , Saving Sam , Diggers and Der Nebel ; in The Dark Knight he played Commissioner Gordon's son James "Jimmy" Gordon Junior.

On television, he played a missing child in an episode of Without a Trace , a crossover episode with CSI. He also played a child in an episode of Ghost Whisperer - Voices from Beyond Who Lost His Father. Nathan also has a role in Marley & Me , a film based on the memories of John Grogan. In the fifth season of Dr. House he also had a supporting role. In 2011 he starred alongside Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd in the family film My Friend, the Dolphin , about the friendship between a boy and a dolphin. For this he was at the Young Artist Awards 2012 as Best Actor in a Motion Picture nomination.
