The main round is played with a double round. The winner will be promoted to the NLA. The NLB team in 2nd place plays a promotion / relegation barrier against the team in 3rd place in the NLA relegation round for the remaining place in the NLA. The NLA team has the right to play at home and thus have their first away game. The teams in 13th and 14th place are relegated to the first division.
