The National Socialist Front ( Swedish ; National Socialist Front ), shortened NSF , was a right-wing extremist or neo-Nazi party with Christian values in Sweden . It was the third largest right-wing party after Sverigedemokraterna and Nationaldemokraterna .

history

The party was founded in 1994 in Karlskrona, Sweden, by activists who felt inspired by the National Socialist network Vitt ariskt motstånd ( White Aryan Resistance ). From 1994 to 1999, Anders Högström headed the party. In the course of his departure to the Social Democrats , a so-called Reichsführung ( riksledning ) was formed consisting of Anders Ärleskog and Daniel Höglund. From 1999 the party viewed itself as a party-political organization without having the name registered as a party name. At her wedding she had around 500 members.

Some persons in the vicinity of the party were due to violence and sedition convictions, including members of the party leadership. In 1999 two party activists were convicted of the murder of two police officers in Malexander , Småland .

On November 22, 2008, the party was dissolved. At the same time, a successor organization with the same leadership was formed with Folkfronten . Folk Fronten parted with the open National Socialist sentiments with the aim of appearing more bourgeois, which is questioned by various sources . Svenskarnas parti appeared as a further successor organization until 2015 .

ideology

The party had the abolition of democracy in a parliamentary way to the core target. According to the party program, they stood for state race control , the exit from the European Union and the UN , the repatriation of refugees and immigrants and tax breaks for large families. The party was inspired by German National Socialism and saw itself as the heir to the National Socialist parties of the 1930s; Adolf Hitler , for example, was openly admired.

The party appeared in public through a series of demonstrations and propaganda leaflets . With "Den Svenske National Socialists" ( the Swedish National Socialist ) NSF distributed a party newspaper .

Election results

For the first time the NSF took part in the local council elections in 2002 in Karlskrona , where the party won no mandate with 0.5% of the vote . In the 2006 election year, NSF ran alongside Karlskrona in five other municipalities and in the Reichstag election . She could not win seats in any community; nationwide it received 1,417 votes or 0.03% and thus did not move into the Reichstag .

Of the ten people who stood for the 2006 election, seven had a criminal record for sedition, stolen goods or perjury, among other things .

Contacts to Germany

From the 2002 report on the protection of the constitution by the Ministry of the Interior of Saxony-Anhalt it became known that the right-wing extremist regional group “Self-protection Saxony-Anhalt” carried out a “mission to secure election campaign activities” for the 2002 election in Karlskrona.
