The nature reserve Käsbachtal is located in the municipality of Odenthal in the Rheinisch-Bergisch district . It extends from Amtmannscherf to the south into the Käsbachtal.

description

The nature reserve encompasses the Kerbsohlental of the Käsbach with a meandering stream, grassland use and littered field trees. It is a natural spring and running water habitat with amphibious and terrestrial contact habitats within the Scherfbach / Dhünn joint axis.

To maintain a natural creek valley with a species-rich habitat complex of wet grassland and -brachen, riparian forest residues , wood successions and a richly textured watercourse with pronounced spring swamps,
