from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Klef nature reserve is a 11.2 hectare nature reserve east of Werdohl in the urban area of Plettenberg in the Märkisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia . The NSG was designated in 1985 by the district council of the Märkisches Kreis with the landscape plan No. 1 (Plettenberg-Herscheid-Neuenrade) . The name was the steep slope "Klef" nature reserve on the western slope of the Reckenberg north of the Teindeln district , town of Plettenberg . With the 2nd change to the landscape plan No. 1 (Plettenberg-Herscheid-Neuenrade), the NSG was designated again in 2012 and renamed the Klef nature reserve . In the urban area of Neuenrade , the seven hectare nature reserve of the same name adjoins directly to the east .

The nature reserve has been part of the FFH area "Schluchtwälder im Lennetal" (DE-4712-301) since 2004 .
