Lac de Naussac

Naussac is a former French commune in the Lozère department in the Occitanie region .

The municipality of Naussac was merged with the former municipality of Fontanes to form the Commune nouvelle Naussac-Fontanes with effect from January 1, 2016 , and since then has had the status of a commune déléguée with 199 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).

geography

Naussac is a village on a high plateau in the northern Cevennes . The village lies on the south bank of the Lac de Naussac of the same name , a reservoir that is fed by the Allier River.
