Nazmi Kırık

Nazmi Kırık (* 1976 in Diyarbakır ) is an actor of Kurdish origin from Turkey .

Life

He began his theater training at the Mesopotamian Cultural Association in Diyarbakır ( Turkish Mezopotamya Kültür Merkezi Diyarbakır ). In 1996 he moved to Istanbul and continued to work in the theater. As Berzan, he played his first film role in 1999 in the film Reise zur Sonne , which won the Blue Angel and the Peace Film Prize at the Berlinale in 1999. With the film Kilomètre zéro by Hiner Saleem , Nazmi Kırık was nominated in the category Best Male Actor in Cannes . In 2006 he took part in the Turkish Film Festival in Antalya with a short film called Kimlik (German: Identity ) . He also played smaller roles in films such as Krumme Dinger am Bosporus (2005) by Yılmaz Erdoğan or Beynelmilel - The International . In 2007 he made a second film with Hiner Saleem called Dol .
