Neu Königsaue is a district of the city of Aschersleben in the Salzlandkreis (Saxony-Anhalt).

Neu Königsaue is a young place. It was built in the mid-1960s about 1,500 meters from its place of origin. The original village of Königsaue had to give way to open-cast lignite mining. The Harzer Seeland is in the immediate vicinity .
The municipality of Königsaue was incorporated into the municipality of Schadeleben on October 7, 1967. On June 12, 1990, the community was reorganized under the name of Neu Königsaue . On January 1st, 2009 it was incorporated into Aschersleben.
Königsaue station was on the Aschersleben – Nienhagen line . This route is closed.
