Neuendambach is located on the southern roof of the Hildburghausen Forest and can be reached via Landesstrasse 1134 and Kreisstrasse 524. The hamlet is located northwest of Gerhardtsgereuth in a natural landscape in southern Thuringia.
history
The village was first mentioned in documents in 1494. Until 1815, the place belonged to the Henneberg or Electoral Saxon office Schleusingen . From 1815 to 1945 Neuendambach belonged to Prussia and administratively to the Schleusingen district .
Since the incorporation, which came into force on July 1, 1950, the village has been looked after by Gerhardtsgereuth.
