The Hefei motorway ring ( Chinese  合肥 绕城 高速公路 , Pinyin Héféi ràochéng gāosù gōnglù , English Hefei Ring Expressway ), Chinese abbreviation G40 01 , is a local motorway ring around the metropolis of Hefei in the east of the People's Republic of China . It has a length of 105 km. The national highways G3 , G40 and G42 run on parts of the motorway ring .
