The Turpan – Hotan or Tuhe Highway ( Chinese  吐 和 高速公路 , Pinyin Tǔhé gāosù gōnglù , English Tuhe Expressway ), Chinese abbreviation G30 12 , is a regional highway under construction in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region in western China . The 1280 km long motorway branches off the G30 motorway at Turpan and leads in a south-westerly direction via Korla and Aksu to Kashgar (Kashi). From there it leads in a south-easterly direction to Hotan (Hetian). With the exception of a small part in the north near Korla, the motorway is still under construction or in planning.
