The Shantou – Kunming or Shankun motorway ( Chinese  汕 昆 高速公路 , Pinyin Shánkūn gāosù gōnglù , English Shankun Expressway ), Chinese abbreviation G78 , is a highway under construction in China , which will have a length of 2,119 km. It begins in the coastal city of Shantou in the eastern province of Guangdong and heading west about Xingning , Hezhou , Liuzhou and Tian Yang to Kunming in the province Yunnan . Long stretches have not yet been implemented.
