The Hangzhou Bay Ring Expressway ( Chinese 杭州 湾 环线 高速公路 , Pinyin Hángzhōu wān huánxiàn gāosù gōnglù , English Hangzhou Bay Ring Expressway ), Chinese abbreviation G92 , is a ring-shaped highway around Hangzhou Bay in Zhejiang Province in eastern China . On the eastern part of this ring is the Hangzhou Wan Daqiao Bridge, which spans the bay and is the second longest bridge in the world with a length of 36 km. In addition, two "arms" of the G92 branch off from the actual motorway ring, which lead in the northeast to the government- direct city of Shanghai and in the southeast to the port of Ningbo . In total, all sections have a length of 427 km.
