The Kaxgar – Irkeschtam or Ka-Yi-Highway ( Chinese  喀伊 高速公路 , Pinyin Kā-Yī gāosù gōnglù , English Kayi Expressway ), Chinese abbreviation G30 13 , is a planned regional highway in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region in western China . The 220 km long motorway is to branch off from the planned G3012 motorway at Kaxgar and lead in a westerly direction via the Ulugqat district to the border with Kyrgyzstan and the Kyrgyz border station Irkeschtam .
