The Lianyungang – Korgas or Lianhuo motorway ( Chinese  连 霍 高速公路 , Pinyin Liánhuò gāosù gōnglù , English Lianhuo Expressway ), Chinese abbreviation G30 , will be the longest motorway in China when it is completed . It runs from the coastal city of Lianyungang in Jiangsu Province via the provincial capitals Zhengzhou , Xi'an , Lanzhou and Ürümqi to Korgas in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region on the border with Kazakhstan . Once fully implemented, the motorway will have a length of 4,280 km.
