The Neuner (also Neuner tip ; Ladin Sas dles Nü or earlier also Nönöres , Italian Cima Nove ) is a 2968  m high mountain of Wengen . Its name comes from the fact that it - like its neighboring mountain Zehner - makes it easier for Wengen to estimate the time of day using the position of the sun. Seen from there, the sun is over him at nine o'clock. The Neuner forms part of the ridge between the Wengental and Fanes -Hochfläche. It is located in the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park .
