In the 19th century the place continued to grow. In 1928 an association of freethinkers was formed in Taubenheim , he had a non-church urn grove built at the foot of the Taubenberg. In 1936 the municipality of Taubenheim had the Neutaubenheimer Löschwasserteich, which was already used for swimming at that time, transformed into a public bath. In 1978, the cottage settlement "Am Taubenberg" was laid out below the urn grove. Between 1987 and 1990, 36 communal apartments and 12 apartments in row houses were built on Albert-Schweitzer-Straße. In 1991 the streets were renamed. The Volksbad was transformed into an adventure pool in 1992. Neutaubenheim was always part of the Taubenheim community and was incorporated into Sohland in 1994.
