New Music Award
The New Music Award (until 2009: RadioAward for new music ) is a prize for young musicians and bands in Germany and a joint production of all young ARD radio stations.

In the first two years, the prize was awarded as a cooperation between MDR Sputnik , You FM and Radio Fritz under the name RadioAward for new music . Meanwhile Dasding , N-Joy , BR PULS , 103.7 UnserDing , 1 Live , Bremen Next , MDR Sputnik; FRITZ , You-FM and Deutschlandfunk Nova all new ARD youth radio waves are involved in the cooperation.
Each station sends a newcomer into the race, and the winner is determined in the evening by an independent jury (industry experts, music directors of the radio stations involved, musicians) and the audience.
