Exclusive is a 2008 founded, five-piece electro - band from Munich Trudering.
history
Exclusive was founded in 2008 by Markus "Maggus" Harbauer, Fabian Bottler, Christian "Chris" Rehländer and Johannes "Jani" Wimmer in Munich under the name The Exclusive . So far uncast, they went independently through school concerts, youth centers and finally had their first gigs in Munich scene clubs in 2010. That same year, Benedict Höcherl was added as a fifth member of the band and their first indie rock - EP was In Bloom Records published. At that time they played sold out concerts in Munich's Atomic Cafe and also performed at the "Flowerstreet Festival". They played in the opening act for Band of Skulls , Young Rebel Set , Fred , Baby Universal and The Airborne Toxic Event . The first single "Sugar Loona" (feat. Fuiz) followed.
In 2011 the five band members began to write their album Nachtmensch , which was released in 2012 on Flowerstreet Records . For the new album, the "The" before "Exclusive" was deleted, the English-language texts were replaced by German-language ones and the sound was improved with electronic sounds and synthesizers . This was followed by broadcasts in the youth program of Bayerischer Rundfunk , the 11th season of the on3 startrampe . In addition, the song Nachtmensch stayed in the EgoFM charts , the EgoFM42, for several weeks . In summer they performed at the Rock am Ring , Rock im Park , Taubertalfestival , Open Flair , Oben ohne and Die Neuen DeutschPoeten festivals, among others . In September 2013 the group won the New Music Award .
According to mediabiz.de / MusikWoche , the band signed a publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing in October 2013 . Her second album Neuer Mensch was released on May 22, 2015 .
In 2019 the third album "Lieder für die Autobahn" was released, which was also released under the Columbia label.
