Nezahat Baradari (born on August 15, 1965 in Ankara - Bogazköy ) is a German pediatrician , politician ( SPD ) and a member of the German Bundestag since 2019 .

Professional background

Nezahat Baradari in 1982 with a high school , 1984 College student and 1987, the General university . From 1987 to 1994 she studied human medicine at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel . She completed her studies with the III. State examination. She received her license to practice medicine in October 1997 . In October 2003 the specialist certification for pediatric and adolescent medicine followed.

From 1994 to 1996 Nezahat Baradari worked as an intern at the children's clinic in Itzehoe and from 1996 to 1999 as an assistant doctor at the Ostholstein clinics in Eutin . From 1999 to 2008 she took over various practice substitutes and practice positions in Plön , Plettenberg and Olpe . She has been working as a resident pediatrician in Attendorn since 2008 .

Political commitment

Since 1984 she has been a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). Nezahat Baradari is a member of the SPD board of the Attendorn local association . In the SPD parliamentary group of the city of Attendorn, she is involved as a knowledgeable citizen for schools, culture and monument protection. She is a member of the SPD district executive in the Olpe district , the SPD chairwoman of the Migration and Diversity Working Group in the Olpe district and in the Olpe district parliamentary group as spokesperson for the Social and Health Committee.

On January 7, 2019, Nezahat Baradari replaced Ulrich Kelber , who had left the German Bundestag. She is a full member of the Committee on European Affairs and an alternate member of the Food and Agriculture Committee and the Health Committee. Since October 15, 2019, she has also been a deputy member of the health committee.

Nezahat Baradari is a member of the Franco-German Parliamentary Assembly . Since January 2020 she has been a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean .
