Ngawa ( Chinese  阿坝 县 , Pinyin Ābà Xiàn ) is a district of the Ngawa Autonomous District of the Tibetans and Qiang in the north of the Chinese province of Sichuan . Its main town is the Ngawa community . It has an area of ​​10,435 square kilometers and has a population of 60,000 (2004).

Self-immolation
