Niamh McGrady (born October 4, 1983 in Castlewellan , County Down , Northern Ireland ) is a British actress .

life and career

Born in 1983, Niamh McGrady grew up in Castlewellan, Northern Ireland, and attended Assumption Grammar School in Ballynahinch . At the age of 18, she began studying music and drama at the Royal Welsh College in Cardiff , which she graduated in 2004. At first she worked as a stage actress, preferably in plays by William Shakespeare . A performance of Macbeth with Patrick Stewart in the lead role took Niamh McGrady to the West End of London and to Broadway in New York in 2008 .

Back in London , she made her debut in the TV movie Best: His Mother's Son in 2009 .
