Laruscade is located about 35 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . The Saye River flows on the southwest edge of the municipality . Laruscade is surrounded by the neighboring communities Bussac-Forêt in the north and northwest, Bedenac in the north and northeast, Lapouyade in the east, Tizac-de-Lapouyade in the southeast, Marcenais in the south, Marsas in the southwest, Cavignac in the west and southwest, Saint-Mariens in the West and Saint-Yzan-de-Soudiac to the west.

The National Route 10 runs through the municipality .
