Lansac is a town in southwestern France and a municipality with 739 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gironde department in the north of the Aquitaine region . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Blaye and the canton L'Estuaire (until 2015: canton Bourg ). The inhabitants are called Lansacais .

location

Lansac is located in the historical province of Angoumois in the cultural landscape of the Charente and at the same time in the vineyards of the Côtes de Bourg wine-growing region . Lansac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mombrier in the north, Pugnac in the northeast, Tauriac in the east and southeast, Bourg in the south and southwest and Samonac in the west.
