Pleine-Selve is a municipality with 219 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the French department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Blaye and the canton of L'Estuaire (until 2015: canton of Saint-Ciers-sur-Gironde ).

Pleine-Selve is about 54 kilometers north of Bordeaux . Pleine-Selve is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mirambeau in the north, Boisredon in the east, Saint-Palais in the south and Saint-Bonnet-sur-Gironde in the west.
