Étauliers is a municipality with 1493 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the French department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Blaye and the canton of L'Estuaire (until 2015: canton of Saint-Ciers-sur-Gironde ). The inhabitants are called Étaulois .
geography
Étauliers is located about 43 kilometers north of Bordeaux on the Livenne River . Étauliers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Aubin-de-Blaye in the north, Reignac in the east, Cartelègue in the south, Eyrans in the south-west, Anglade in the west and south-west and Braud-et-Saint-Louis in the west and north-west.
The former route nationale 137 (today's D137) runs through the municipality .
