Cézac is a French commune with 2,571 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Blaye and is part of the canton of Le Nord-Gironde (until 2015: canton of Saint-Savin ). The inhabitants are called Cézacais .

geography

Cézac is located about 30 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Cézac is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Civrac-de-Blaye in the north and north-west, Saint-Mariens in the north, Cavignac in the east and north-east, Marsas in the south-east, Cubnezais in the south, Saint-Laurent-d'Arce in the south and south-west, Tauriac in the Southwest and Pugnac in the west and northwest.

The A10 autoroute runs along the western edge of the municipality and Route nationale 10 through the east .
