Cubnezais is a French commune with 1,499 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Blaye and is part of the canton of Le Nord-Gironde (until 2015: canton of Saint-Savin ). The inhabitants are called Cubnezais .
geography
Cubnezais is located about 25 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Cubnezais is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cézac in the north and west, Marsas in the east, Gauriaguet in the south and south-east and Peujard in the south.
